I haven't fallen off the earth!
Just a quick note to say that I am here, and explain my absence from blogging. After a long battle with kidney cancer my mother passed away on January 28th. I was privileged to be able to spend her last three weeks with her. I am now in the process of getting back to "normal" and settling in to being home again before the baby comes in a few short weeks! I have stumbled across your blog from Pondered and I just want to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. I just lost my Father in October and it has been a very difficult process. I have good days and bad but the good are starting to be more. I think about him everyday but now I can do it without crying [most of the time]. You are in my prayers, it will get easier. God bless!!
What fun to see this pic of Lida and the 3 "bigger" kids.... I am amazed how much I still miss her so I can't imagine how it is for you....
